With respect to the prescribed epidemiological measures, the Prijedor Home for Persons with Disabilities did not have any problems with the corona virus. Uncollected receivables have also been resolved, and the management expects a positive final account for last year.
“We collected the debts in the second half of last year and we can say that we have no problems with collectibility with the centers for social work in Republika Srpska, nor with the centers from the Federation,” said Milos Marjanovic, director of the Home for Persons with Disabilities.
There are 162 users in the Home, of which 146 are from the Republika Srpska, 8 from the Federation of BiH, 3 from Brčko, 1 from Montenegro and 4 from Croatia. There are 17 users from Prijedor in the Home, and the administration points out that, according to accommodation and personnel capacities, they could accommodate about 60 new users. The renovation of the main pavilion is underway and the construction of a children’s playground is planned, as well as the renovation of the complete exterior of the Home and access paths. In addition to their own funds, part of the funds will be provided by the RS Government and the non-governmental sector through donations. The Home for Persons with Disabilities is mostly financed by the municipalities from which the beneficiaries come.
